Clinical and radiographic evaluation of the effect of salvadora persica as a pulpotomy medicament versus formocresol and calcium hydroxide

Objective: The objective of this study was to compare between the clinical and radiographic effects three medicaments (Salvadora Persica SP, Formocresol Calcium hydroxide) on non-vital pulpotomy primary young permanent molars. Subjects Methods: present a randomized controlled comprised 24 children. These teeth were classified into two equal groups. patients with age from 4-8 years old. In (Group 1) radicular pulp capped formocresol in (subgroup 1A) SP 1B) after procedures. 2) permanenet molar calclium hydroxide 2A) 2B) assessed clinically radiographically 3 months. Result: revealed that, (Group1) success rate salvadora persica 83.3%, while 100% . (Group2) showed no as medicament for vital Conclusion: Based finding, it may be concluded - Salvadora proved good result
